Home From Home Care are sponsoring the ‘Next Steps’ Transition Event being run by The Social Care Exchange.
This event will be an opportunity for parents, carers’ and care professionals across Lincolnshire to talk to different services and providers. Come and explore the different adult care options, and talk and share first-hand experiences about the move from children’s to adult services. There will be information stands about further education, housing, advocacy, family support, employment, day services and respite. You can also take part in a variety of workshops covering the Mental Capacity Act, Positive Behaviour and Transition Q & A’s.
You are welcome to drop in to network with exhibitors about your child’s future. To attend any of the workshops, please register your interest by email events@socialcare.exchange as places are limited.
It is never too early to start thinking about the future. Transition is a daunting time, however being informed can help make all the difference when it comes to making important decisions about your child’s future.
